The mourning doves are grayish brown and have dark spots on their upper wing. They are slender with small head and their tail is pointed and long which has whiter edges. It is a commonly seen bird in the Tucson city. The hummingbirds have a crimson crown and a gorget. Like most of the hummingbirds even they have a green shade on their back, their tail is dark colored and grayish white belly. This bird is usually found where it gets plenty of creosote and open spaces.

Mockingbirds are grey overall. They have wings with white patches and a dark tail with tail feathers which are white. Cactus wren is an easily recognizable bird because of its spotted and heavily streaked plumage. There are white and black pots on its breast and upper wings. These birds are very common the Tucson city and can be seen on the cacti.
