Things to do when

A baby bird is found outside its nest

When a baby bird is found outside it should be put in its nest, if the nest could be found. If the nest is not in your reach or it can’t be found, put it in some safe place away from the other animals or any danger. Observe if any adult bird comes to care for the baby bird or comes to feed it. Many times the adult bird comes to take care of the chick. When the adult bird does not come to rake care of the chick or the bird is badly injured then only contact the wildlife rehabilitator.

A mammal or a bat is injured

Efforts are being taken for preventing the wildlife from getting extinct. If a mammal or a bat is found in a sick or injured condition the wildlife rehabilitator should be contacted immediately. Also if the saliva from a bat goes into the nose eyes wound or mouth. Then it should be washed thoroughly. If an injured mammal is found the primary medical aid should be given till the rehabilitator arrives.
